Cossack Road Rally 2006 - Press Announcement dated 29th June 2006.
Following a series of very successful events since 1971, the current organisors are wishing to take a short sabbatical away from the event.
Therefore, not wishing to run a "sub-standard" event by an in-experienced Clerk of the Course, the Eastwood & District Motor Club Ltd. Committee has taken the decision to rest the event in 2006.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the competitors and marshals who have made the Cossack Road Rally such a success, with 13 Regional Association awards for the "Best Road Rally of the Year" in the last 15 years.
We hope to see you all again in 2007 (10th/11th November) when we hope to return refreshed.
